One Bedroom Solar Loft Cottage

Itz’ana is a luxury resort and residential community on the Placencia Peninsula.  The one bedroom loft cottage is designed as a chic and elegant home away from home that marries style and functionality.  They are located in a stunning waterfront setting and feature two levels of living space.  The downstairs area features an outdoor over water deck, kitchen, and living-room with a sleeper-sofa and bathroom.  The mezzanine level bedroom extends to encompass a study and rooftop deck overlooking the water.  Perfect to watch the sunset over the Maya Mountains with a cocktail in hand. 

Each cottage is designed to evolve as the day progresses, allowing the owner to relax, work or entertain guests as needed.  The loft offers a wonderful indoor-outdoor flow, with waterfront exterior space on both levels.  Of the 1200 square feet of total space, the interior 715 square feet is air-conditioned.  Designed in New York, made in Central America, the Loft Cottage marry style and substance, making it a truly special residence. 

Inspired by the beaches of Belize and the rich history of Central America, designer Samuel Amoia works with natural materials that celebrate Itz’ana’s own surroundings in the design of the interiors of each cottage.
